Birthcirca 1653Noyes: +/-20 in June 1673; McCoy: Bef 1653, Isles of Shoals NH. "Birthdate is estimated assuming that the William Vrin noted in records of Quarterly Court of Salem, Ma in 1675 was of legal age to enter into contract in 1674."1
Court1673/74Noyes:p. 39, "Isles of Shoals Court Cases. Will Urin +/-20 deposed in June
1673. William Oliver, his master at the Shoals. W. O.'s wife had liberty to
milk the cow of Philip Odihorne wherever he could find her. Edward Holland
came out to us among: William Sealey's, Andrew Diamond's, Michael Endell's:
fish flakes while we were seeking the cow found her near Mr. Belcher's
house."; p. 703 "Fisherman, of R. Downes & Co., in contract with Fr. Wainwright of Ips. 19 Nov. 1674."2
Deathbefore 1699"This is the William Vrin who entered into a contract with other fisherman of Isles of Shoals to sell their fish caught between 12 nov 1674 and 01 may 1675 to Francis Wainwright of Ipswich. He is too old to be the son of Edward Uran, and Francis and John Uran each have a different son named William. The most likely conclusion is that this William was a son of William and Eleanor who died before 1699 leaving no descendants."3
