MRS. E. W. CLARK.
After only a week's illness, Mrs. Christina Clark; wife of Mr. E. W. Clark, the well-known dairyman, passed away yesterday morning nine o'clock at the family residence, corner if Lisgar and Emmett streets. The cause of death was hemorrhages of the stomach.
The deceased is survived by a husband, three sons, Guy, Roy and Mead, daughter, Miss Ethel Clark and a brother, Mr. J. J. Collins.
Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the late Samuel Collins, of Jockvale, whose father, a United Empire Loyalist, one of the earliest settlers in this district.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at two o'clock from the residence to Merivale. cemetery. The service will be conducted by Rev. W. A. Mellroy, minister of Stewarton Church, with which the deceased was identified.9

SUTTON, July 28. —A sad accident occurred at Jackson's Point, on Tuesday, by which David Waddell, a clerk in the Bank at Bradford, lost his life. A party of excursionists were coming from Bradford to Jackson's Point to spend the day, when the tug on which they were on turning into the wharf gave a sudden lurch, and the above named young man fell overboard, and before any one could reach him he sank. The body has not yet been recovered.5

The funeral will be under the auspices of the Newmarket Lodge of Odd Fellows, of which he was a member.6
