     Simple were the details for the wedding which united the lives of Russell Pyper of Adeline, Ill., and Miss Daisy Fuller of this city. They were united in marriage this afternoon at the home of Rev. H. M. Bannen in Rockford. The bride wore her traveling suit of green material with hat and blouse to match and immediately after the ceremony they departed on a trip, which will take them to Chicago, Milwaukee and other places of interest Mrs. Pyper has been the honored guest at a number of social functions since announcing her wedding plans, and is highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends. The groom has many acquaintances here who will congratulate him. Mr. Pyper is a prominent resident of Adeline.6

The self Invited guests brought with them baskets of eats and a big- dinner was enjoyed. Two Urge wedding cakes, one an angle food, which called for three dozen eggs In Its make tip and nicely decorated, was a great attraction both for looks and-taste. After dinner a mock wedding was staged, Mrs. Willis Lattin took the part of the bride, Fred Heyer, the bride groom and Charles Low the officiating minister who took his ceremony from. the Montgomery Ward catalogue. Mrs. Low played the wedding. march while she was accompanied by a group who hummed through paper: covered combs. An embroidery hoop was used for the wedding ring. The affair caused much merriment. Rev. Putnam made a few fitting remarks also. Mr and Mrs. Pyper were presented with a shower of green glass ware. Ice cream and cake were served before the guests departed. Relatives from ( DeKalb included. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Busey, Mr. and Mrs. Lattimer. Mrs. Robert Stone, Mrs. Robert Newcomer, Mrs. Vincent Fuller, Mrs. L. Thorne. Mrs. Maude Rowle. Waterman Girl At Mayo Clinic Seriously Ill
     Little Lucille Pyper, thirteen-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pyper of Waterman and a granddaughter of Frank Fuller of this city, is seriously ill at the Mayo Brothers hospital in Rochester. Minn. She underwent a serious operation last Saturday and her condition is as well as may be expected considering the seriousness of the operation.
     The little girl is suffering with a cancerous growth on the spine, the case being of a very unusual nature. It is seldom that a child suffers cancer.7
