Beirnes

The death of John Ferris Beirnes, age 88 years, of ?33 Third Avenue, north, formerly of Asquith and Victoria, occurred at his home on August 27, 1950. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, at 2 p.m. standard time, 3 p.m. city time, from McKague's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Mr. Donnelly. Surviving are his widow, five daughters, Mrs. H. (Dolly) Giruier, Victoria, Mrs. Della McFadyen, Saskatoon, Mrs. Neeta Fuller, Victoria, Mrs. E. W. (Ada) McFadyen, Loverna, Mrs. S. (Velma) Hultman, Saskatoon and Loverna, six sons, Thomas and Harland in Victoria, James in Oregon, Clinton in Alaska, Cecil in Washington, Wilfred in Asquith. There are 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Burial will be made in the Asquith Cemetery.1



     In the obituary of Wilfred Clarence Beirnes who died 1 July 1983, his father, John Beirnes was listed as predeceased.8
     In the obituary of Velma Laurine Hultman who died 29 December 1997, hr father, John Beirnes was listed as predeceased.9
