Military Service

     Floyd Curry began military service on 11 July 1942 at the age of 20 in the Navy.8
     On December 1943, he was serving on the USS Hornet, an aircraft carrier commissioned in Nov. 1943 and still on training exercises until about Feb 1944. He was last recorded on the Hornet Muster List in July 1945.10 Floyd Curry ended his military service on 27 September 1945

     Robert Hill Tutin died on 22 October 1901 at 189 Foote Avenue, Bellevue, Campbell County, Kentucky, USA, at age 65.8,4,9 The cause of his death was given as paralysis.4

Their children: Cora, Clara, Florence, Thomas and William, were listed as living with them. As was her brother, James B. Saunders and a boarder, Jenny Bassett.5
     Robert H. and Margaret Tutin appeared on the 1900 U.S. Federal Census of Bellevue, Campbell County, Kentucky, enumerated 16 June 1900, described as a machinist. Their children: Clara (sic) E., Thomas C. and Mae E., were listed as living with them. They had been married for 37 years. She had 9 children, of which only 4 were still living. His sister, Mary E Tuton was included in the household.1
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Cincinnati Enquirer published in Cincinnati, Ohio 24 October 1901:
