     Henry and Marion Jamieson appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Red Deer, The Territories, enumerated 31 March 1901, described as a farmer. Their children: Martha F., William G., David A., Arabella M, Marion E. and Henry H., were listed as living with them. Note that the year 1844 was given for his birth, but his age was shown as 57 rather than 56. Therefore he may have been born in 1843 as indicated by Dallas Manicom.3

MRS. HENRY JAMIESON
SYLVAN LAKE, Alta., March 15
One of the gracious and devoted women who gave their lives to family, community and church in loyal service for many years, passed away at Sylvan Lake this week, when Mrs. Henry Jamieson was called to her rest after an illness of several weeks. She had been gradually sinking and the end came peacefully Monday. Mrs. Jamieson was born at Renfrew, Ontario, in 1847, and was in her 83rd year. She was married to Henry Jamieson in 1867. Mr. Jamieson died about 10 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jamieson celebrated their golden wedding at Brunt Lake in 1917. They came west in 1900 and settled east of Red Deer, where the Provincial training school now stands. Their eight children are all living, viz. Mrs. Alex. Pirie. Calgary; Mrs. Thomas Ferguson, Lydden; Mrs. Arthur Wright. Ardley; William Jamieson. at Delburn; Mrs. James McKechnie, Hinton, Alta; D. A. Jamieson, Sylvan Lake (with whom Mrs. Jamieson has resided since the death of her husband); Mrs. W. L. McKinnon, Leslieville, and H. H. Jamieson, Sylvan Lake. There are fourteen grand children and two great grandchildren living. The funeral was held Wednesday from the local Presbyterian church. Rev. R. S. Stevens officiating.

Interment service was at Red Deer cemetery.5
