SEYMOUR - Fredrick Thomas passed away at St. Paul's Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the age of 97 years. Fred is survived by his devoted wife, Una; two daughters, Jean (Bob) Byhre of BC and Rhonda (Dwight) Grovum of ON; four grandchildren, Dwight (Lua), Scott (Dianna), Glenda (Dave), Robert; and five great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, George of Saskatoon and sister, Jessie of BC. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Sylvia; and brother, Jack. Fred was born at Juniata, SK on February 7, 1911 to John and Alice Seymour. He grew up on the family homestead near Asquith, SK. He married Margaret Gleave on July 6, 1939 and they farmed at Radisson, SK. In 1946 they moved to Avondale district near Delisle, where they raised their three daughters. Fred was a successful and innovative farmer. Retiring in 1999 at the age of 88 and has lived at Luther Tower, Saskatoon for over 20 years. His family will remember his generosity, love and kindness. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Luther Tower, 1223 Temperance St., Saskatoon with Rev. Heather Anderson officiating. Reception to follow. Jessie Kulcycki passed away at Bevan Village, Abbotsford, B.C. on Feb 12, 2017 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben; her parents Alice and John Seymour; brothers, Jack, Fred and George Seymour. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Peterson, Lynn Baldwin, Fern Beairsto (Jim) and son Joe (Sopha). Jessie was born in the rural municipality of Juniata, Saskatchewan on March 6th, 1919. She was employed as an accountant in Saskatoon SK. In 1946 she married Ben. They moved to Humboldt SK. in 1947 where she happily resided for the next 60 years before taking up residence in Mission, B.C. She loved the summers spent at Waskesiu. A memorial service will be held on May 2, 2017 starting at 2:00 at Westminster United Church, 708 13th Ave, Humboldt, SK. Following the service, family will attend the cemetery next to the church where Jessie will be placed alongside her beloved husband Ben.

We wish to express our deep appreciation for the care and compassion Jessie received over the past 4 years at Bevan Village. Mom was always treated with dignity, respect and kindness for which we will always be grateful.
