ALBANY, Nov. 15. (RNS) — An Albany woman. Mrs. Ben G. Reynolds, 68, and her sister, Mrs. Ella Nowlin, 65, of Milton, Ky., were killed Instantly Friday noon when their car collided with a trailer truck on the main street of Hamilton. Both women were dead on arrival at a Hamilton hospital. Driver of the truck, Lee Riley of Temple, escaped serious injury. Mrs. Reynolds, who was killed on her birthday, is the wife of Albany's chief of police. She and her sister were returning to Albany after a visit with Mrs. George F. Bishop of near Temple, a sister of Chief Reynolds. The bodies were to have been brought to Albany. Mrs. Reynolds will be buried here. Time of funeral was not set pending arrival of the children. Body of Mrs. Nowlin was to be shipped from Baird to Milton, Ky. Mrs. Reynolds was horn in Temple County Nov. 14, 1884. She was married to Chief Reynolds June 15, 1908, and came to Albany as a bride. The former. Lucy Mote McIntire, she was a member of the Christian Church most of her life and taught the Adult Bible Class for years. The Reynolds family ranched in Stonewall County for more than five years and returned to Albany To live in the early 20's. Mrs. Reynolds was a graduate of Hanover College, Indiana, In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reynolds' survivors include three sons, Phil W. of Wrangly, Colo., William H. of Santa Fe, N. M., and James Walton Reynolds, Parkman, Wyn; seven grandchildren., and another sister. Mrs. Robert Nowlin of Lawrence, Ind. Mrs. Ella Nowlin was born March 2, 1887.11

The two sisters of Mrs. Robert L. Nowlin of Guilford Road were instantly killed at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14 in a traffic accident near Hamilton, Texas. The sisters were Mrs. Ben Reynolds of Albany, Texas, and Mrs. Ella Nowlin, 65, of Milton, Ky., who had gone to Texas three weeks ago for a visit in the Reynolds home.
The auto in which the women were riding crashed head-on into a trailer truck as they were returning from a visit with Mr. Reynolds' sister in Temple, Texas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds were held in Albany, Texas. The body of Mrs. Nowlin was returned to Milton, Ky., where funeral services were held at Mt. Pyrd (sic - should be Byrd) Christian Church with burial in the Moffett cemetery.13

Anita Fern Hall, of Eureka, died at Medicalodge of Eureka on May 15, 2007, at the age of 86.
She was born on July 15, 1920, in Marshall County, Kansas, the daughter of Robert Charles and Hazel Laura (Reno) Neumayer. She was raised in Greenwood County and graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1938. After high school she received normal training and taught school in Ruweda for three years, Tonovay for six years, and then began her teaching career in Eureka. Anita earned a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Administration from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia. After which she became principal of Midwest, Random, and Northside schools. She retired in 1985.
On December 23, 1945, Anita was united in marriage to Wallace Robert Hall in Madison. They made their home in rural Eureka where Wallace was a farmer and rancher. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2001.
Anita was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eureka, the Retired Teachers Association, the Lioness Club, Extension Unit, Storosis Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, was past President of The United Methodist Women, and had received the Teacher, Master, Homemaker Award.She is survived by two sons, Bennie Hall of Augusta, and Richard Hall of Eureka, two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, one sister, Doris Moore of Kansas City, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, May 18, 2007, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Reverend Diana Hill of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name to the First United Methodist Church. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.1
