Regarding Flora Anna Tebow. I am searching for additional information on the Tebow family of my Grandmother. She was born June 27, 1872. I believe in Kansas, probably in the Yates Center area. She had at least one sister and two brothers (I have an undated photo of the brothers). She married Thomas Holleny McCorkill. My father, Lee Holleny McCorkill, was the youngest and he was born in June, 1911 at/near Bird City, Kansas. My father has five sisters: Martha, Julia, Kate, Elva, and Hollis. Hollis is still living near Seattle, Washington.
I know my grandparents left western Kansas about 1914 and settled in Springdale, Arkansas. My Grandfather died there on April 30, 1926. My grandmother continued to live there and later in Cherryvale and Elk City, Kansas until moving to Oreogn and Washington to be near my Aunts.; http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/e/n/d/… - [S6654] Masseyrock..., The Daily Chronicle, Centralia, WA, Aug 14, 1957, Page 9, column 1 viewed at Newspapers.com, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bryant and Mrs. Hollis Lester are spending several days visiting Mrs. Lester's mother, Mrs. Flora McCorkill, at Central Point, Ore., and with Mr. and Mrs. Lee McCorkill, from Kansas..
