Many relatives and friends attended the funeral of the late Frederick Junop, a lifelong resident of Renfrew County, who died at the home of his son, Leonard Junop, at the age of 75. Born at Rosenthal, Mr. Junop was a son of the late Christie Junop and the former Louise Luloff. He worked in the mine at Craigmont for a time and later farmed at Rosenthal until his retirement in 1958, when he moved to Pembroke. He had been a member of the EUB churches at Rosenthal and Pembroke. He was married in 1909 at Rosenthal to the former Matilda Augusta Bimm.
