Lorna J. Houghton
SKOWHEGAN -- Lorna J. Houghton, 51, passed away on Nov. 19, 2006, at Redington-Fairview General Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 10, 1955, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Clayton L. and Mary E. (Post) Foss. She graduated from Skowhegan Area High School as a member of the class of 1974. Lorna was a volunteer at the Social Club in Waterville. She liked to play Bingo and she loved to go for long rides. She loved music and loved to dance. She loved her four boys, her grandchildren and other family members unconditionally, and she was a very giving person. She is survived by four sons, William A. Houghton Jr. and his wife, Joann, of Skowhegan, Bradley J. Houghton and companion, Lisa, of Canaan, Albert K. Houghton and his wife, Rachael, of Skowhegan, and Eric R. Houghton and his companion, Jeff, of Clinton; one brother, Gary Foss and his wife, Debbie, of Madison; one sister, Tina Hainer and her husband, Wilfred, of Skowhegan; seven grandchildren, Tehya, Riley, Brynn, Bradley, Kobe, Andre, and Gabriel; three nephews, Orion Hainer, Davin Hainer and Michael Foss; one niece, Carrie Foss, and one great-niece. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan. Donations may be made in Lorna's memory to her family, in care of William Houghton, 11 Pratt Court, Skowhegan, ME 04976.
