Michele Antoinette (Houghton) Fournier
Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and dear friend, Michele passed away Thursday August 2, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born in San Diego, California. She married Richard Houghton and had three wonderful children: Edward, Amber and Richard. She had two brothers: Bob and Jim, and one sister Cathie.
Michele was an amazing, generous and kind woman, with a heart full of love. She was strong and faithful and endured many trials. She was a proud mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family.
Michele had a deep love and devotion for the healing arts. She was blessed with many talents in natural medicine and used them to help heal others, including animals, through massage and working with essential oils. She touched so many lives with her love for healthy living and enjoyed sharing her knowledge. She was thoughtful and dedicated to her patients. She worked for Ear Nose and Throat and Associates for many years and was very loved. She carried the spirit of healing with her wherever she went.
Michele was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She faithfully served in many different callings and loved doing genealogy and temple work.
Michele was buried in Florida on Friday August 10, 2018 by her loving family.
Michele touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to a memorial held in her honor this Saturday August 18th, 2018 from 11 am- 12:30pm at the Cottonwood 14th Ward (2080 East 5165 South Utah 84117). Published in Salt Lake Tribune on Aug. 17, 2018
