HUBBARDTON - Douglas Ray Houghton, 67, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2018.
He was born June 26, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, the adopted son of Elmer and Armeda (Koivenun) Houghton. His home was Saline, Michigan, where he graduated from Saline High School.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and was a police officer in Saline, Michigan, before moving to Schenectady, New York, and later to Hubbardton, Vermont.
He enjoyed the outdoors, loved all birds, animals and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church in Castleton.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his son, Douglas Wade Houghton, of Nashville, Tennessee; his sister, Barbara (Jack) Miller, of Florida; three stepchildren Jeffrey Corfman, Patricia Corfman and Bryan Corfman; three grandsons; several half-brothers and -sisters; as well as nieces and nephews.
His daughter, Leah Houghton, predeceased him in 2017.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, Castleton, Vermont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church Building Fund.

Pamela Louise Houghton

Gates - Formerly of Sunbury, PA. Pamela passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the age of 73. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters; as well as swimming, golf, food and vacationing in Cape Coral. She was admired and loved by all. Her infectious laugh and optimism will be greatly missed.

Survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Houghton; daughters, Jennifer Houghton and Jacquelyn (David) Wisniewski; son, David (Andrea) Houghton; granddaughters, Annabelle, Abigail and Ava; sister, Kristine Stettler (Robert Baker) and brother, Robert (Phyllis) Stettler.

Family will receive friends Thursday 4-7PM at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Chili, 3600 Chili Ave. Interment Westside Cemetery, 60 Stryker Rd. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice/Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
