Santa Fe, NM, USA, JOHN HOUGHTON PHILLIPS MD, 1928-2014 Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 5th, 1928, John passed away on July 15th at his home in Green Valley, AZ after living with cancer for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Olga Troseth, Green Valley, and his daughter Claudia Margaret, Santa Fe, NM, sons: John Jeffrey, Spokane, WA, Eric Matthew, Spokane, WA, Alexander Houghton, Pacific Palisades, CA and grandchildren: Evan, Caroline, Natalie, Elke and Beau, also his brothers: Dave in Philadelphia, PA and Fred in Roanoke, VA. John was a caring and gentle man, kindly sharing his medical expertise in the field of Oncology for 35 years. Fortunately, for those of us who loved him, we are grateful that he lived a full, vibrant life. Most of all, we feel gratitude because he knew he was a lucky man. Memorial gifts may be given to the
in his honor. If you knew him, a Celebration of Dr. Phillips' Life will be happening. Please let me know if you want to attend, C. M. Phillips.
