HOUGHTON, Humphrey "Linton" Home-going Services for Mr. Humphrey Haughton "Linton" of Tampa who passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, will be held June 31, 12 pm at Faith Outreach Center, 7607 Sheldon Road, Tampa, with the pastor officiating. The interment will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Thonotosassa. Linton was born in St. Mary, Jamaica. Linton moved to Tampa in July 1998. Lin-ton's biggest passion in life was music. He spent a lot of time in recording studios or at home writing, recording, making and playing music. He made several records but only released two, 'Children of Jah' and 'Hustling Man'. Linton was a loving father and great friend to those who knew him. He was loved by many and he will be greatly missed by all. Linton was preceded in death by his sister, Sonia McIntosh; brother, Newton Blake; and his mother, Claris May Davidson.He is survived by his sisters, Sydonie Walker, Marvine Thompson, Pauline McIntosh; brother, Lancelot McIntosh; his second spouse, Lorena Haughton; children, Pamella, Paulette, Adrian, Dennis, Carlton, Donna, Sarah, Gemma, and David; grandchildren, Chanelle, Latesha, Michael, Jaydah and many others; and 2 great-grandchildren Mackyle and Naima; 13 nieces and 10 nephews. The visitation will be at Aikens Funeral Home July 2, 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church Thursday for the service.
