`I'm Jackie (Dinan), Ray's wife and family genealogist. My husband is a direct descendant of Barnabas Horton of Southold, Long Island (1600-1680) and has joined that project (Horton). I've been interested in any possible link to Barnabas Horton and Richard Haughton of New London, Connecticut. Richard Haughton is sometimes referred to as Horton in public records, they both had sons named Joseph, and both their parentage is unsubstantiated although Barnabas is believed to have come from Leicestershire UK with possible family in Warwickshire as well.
