Asa's farm took twelth place: According to the Northumberland Agricultural Society's record, written by John Steele, Secretary of the Society, on the 20th of October 1831, Asa Houghton's farm, located in Haldimand, won a $4 award for having been voted 12th best in the Society's 3rd annual agricultural show, held in the village of Colborne [sic] in Northumberland County, Ontario.
