RUST, Virginia Houghton, of Roanoke, formerly of Denison and Dallas, Texas, died Monday, April 29, 2002. Preceding her in death were her husband of 58 years, Jack Carroll Rust, her brother, Frank L. Houghton, Jr. of Midland, Texas, and her sister-in-law, Addie Belle Carson of San Antonio, Texas. Surviving are her daughter, Jacqueline Carol Rust Watson and her husband, Richard Franklin Watson, Jr; and her two grandchildren, Whitney Houghton Watson and Hunter Blake Watson; also her sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank L. Houghton, Jr. of Midland, Texas and her children, Judy, Miller, Nancy and John and their families; and her brother-in-law, Retired Colonel John Lee Carson, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas and his children, Margie, Skip, Candy and their children. The family is grateful to the staff of Raleigh Court Health Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their special care. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Burial Park on Thursday, May 2, 2002, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Marvin Barbre officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel.³
