The Rev. Dr. James Leighton Carter performed the ceremony. Mrs. Huppman, 28 years old, is a freelance radio producer in Baltimore. The bridegroom, 38, is known as Reed. He is the managing director of Biohabitats, an environmental-consulting and ecological-restoration company in Towson, Md.
