Age 74, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center, on Monday, April 16, 2007 after a short illness. He was born on May 31, 1932 in Macomb county, to Raymond & Aggie (Tarowski) Houghten. He married Kay Walker on November 18, 1978 in Macomb county. He was a Meat Manager at A & P Groceries (retiring in 1981). He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. Tubby was a member of the Gladwin Eagles 3292 & also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 7303. He is survived by his wife: Kay; daughters: Kathy & Robert Laphew of Brimley; Toni & Brad Goike of Chesterfield, MI; Barbara Benette of Richmond, MI; Donna & Brian Dimuzio of East Point, MI; Cherie & Chris Martin of IDA, MI; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Kathleen Fiebeckorn; several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers: Don & Tom. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2007, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association & Veterans Hospital²
