Lenore Jane Houghton

Mrs. I. S. Houghton, Dies at Farm Home

Mrs. Lenore Jane Houghton, 84, wife of Isaac S. Houghton and a lifelong resident of Farmdale, R.R.2, Washington, died at her home .
Mrs. Houghton was born in Farmdale, a daughter of John and Mary Goodman Cunningham, pioneer residents of that community. She married Isaac Houghton in Farmdale on May 31, 1881.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Miss Helen L. Houghton and Miss Esther M. Houghton; three sons, John C. Houghton and Russell R. Houghton, and Herbert R. Houghton; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Three children preceded her in death, Walter (1896), Myrtle Jane (1884-1921), and Frank (1895).
