Obituary

John Hooten died at Tipton on Saturday. He suffered many months of cancer; was 65 years old.
Tecumseh,Mich.,Jan.13---John Hooten, a well know resident of this viciniy and a brother of Charles Hooten of this place, died Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at this home in Tipton. Death was due to cancer, from which the deceased had suffered for many months. Deceased was 65 years of age and was a resident of Franklin Township. A widow and one son, William Hooten of Tipton, one brother, Charles Hooten of Tecumseh, and three sisters, Mrs.Gus Kotz, Mrs.Bloomer, and Mrs.Field of Franklin survive him. The Funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational Church of Tipton. Burial at Tipton.
