Biography

Don Houghton, born Paris 1930, began to write for the radio in the early 50's. It wasn't long before he progressed to writing for film and television, he found fame in the 70's with the Hammer Horror films. He has numerous television credits including Crossroads, New Scotland Yard and Emergency Ward 10. He has also written two novels. During his time on Doctor Who, he wrote the popular Jon Pertwee stories- Inferno and The Mind of Evil.
