Stewart H. Hanford, 77, of 4260 Virgo Course, Liverpool, died Saturday at home.

A native of Islip, Mr. Hanford lived in Liverpool most of his life. He was a partner in Onondaga Pattern Shop, where he was a pattern maker and designer. He also retired in 1981 as a pattern maker and designer with Carrier Corp.
Mr. Hanford was a 50-year member of Liverpool First United Methodist Church and a 49-year member of Liverpool-Syracuse Lodge 501, F&AM.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; three sons, Stewart A. of Gastonia, N.C., David B. of Pennellville and Mark W. of Baldwinsville; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Liverpool First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Liverpool Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.²
