Mrs. Grace Houghton.
Grace Pearl Roderick was born in Mitchell County. Kansas, Feb 2. 1887. She was married to R. N. Houghton of McPherson, Kansas, August the 9th. 1908 Later they moved to Fredonia, where Mrs. Houghton died November 19, 1918 aged 20 years. 7 months and 17 days.
She joined the Methodist Church in Mitchell County Kansas. at the age of ten years and was a devoted and sincere member. She was a kind friend and good neighbor, and leaves besides the immediate family. a host of friends to mourn her death.
Besides her husband R. N Houghton and her nine-year old son George, of this city, the deceased leaves her mother. Mrs Roderick of Galva. Kansas three brothers who live at home. and three other brothers.
