Biography

founder of Richburg, NY; McCoy: "Biographical sketch oin History of Allegany Co., NY (1879) shows that family migrated from Otsego Co., NY (Unadilla) in 820, along with other families originally from Vermont. Alvin Sr. opended the first "public house" in the town of Wirt, NY, and built the first saw mill and grist mill. There are other Richardson families in the same township that do not seem to be descendants of Alvin Sr."⁵
