Notes for Edward(2) MOZINGO
The name Margaret appears twice in the will Edward(2) Mozingo; once as daughter Margaret and once as wife of George HENSON
313. While it could be assumed that they refer to the same person, the style in the will of referring to a married daughter is by using the married name. Most researchers resolve this by assuming that Margaret MOZINGO, wife of George HENSON, was the daughter of Edward(2) MOZINGO’s brother John MOZINGO.
On 27 March 1734 Edward and Ephraim McCarty were acquitted in a trial held in Westmoreland County court in which they were charged with breaking open a tobacco house and stealing tobacco which belonged to Nicholas Minor.
