Biography	[:TAB:] William SNELSON was born circa 1776 and married Elizabeth ? He was a farmer and labourer ( St. Mary's baptisms p20/2/1, 20N Mf 98/2 ) and lived at Eccleston Lane ( according to Jonathan Gill's Will ). They had seven children as follows :- [:TAB:] John SNELSON ( bapt. 24 Dec 1809 ) ; [:TAB:] Thomas SNELSON ( bapt. 19 Jan 1812 ) ; [:TAB:] Samuel SNELSON ( bapt. 1 May 1814 ) ; [:TAB:] Hannah SNELSON ( bapt. 8 Dec 1816 ) ; [:TAB:] William SNELSON ( bapt. 21 Nov 1819 ) ; [:TAB:] Edward SNELSON ( bapt. 23 Jan 1822 ) ; and [:TAB:] Elizabeth SNELSON ( bapt. 27 Feb 1825 ) . William died on 20 Jun 1833 aged 57. There is a monument in Eccleston Churchyard ( Inscriptions 942/21 ) where his remains were buried on 23 Jun 1833. This really needs checking out .... why aren't these children properly recorded here .... are there any other families with the same names and ages [:UND][:ITAL][:BOLD] [:CR:].
