| Biography | Much of the information that has been sorted out regarding the Snelson families of Shropshire and Cheshire has been provided by my very good friends, Charles Snelson and his son Jon. I am indebted to them both for their ground breaking work, generosity and friendship over many years. Much of the information provided in this Snelson DataBase came as a result of, was inspired by or was originally researched by Charles. I feel priviliged to have known him and to count him as a true friend. He stayed with is in Sydney in my home in Australia with his granddaughter, Laura.2 |

Loving father of Jon (Jeanette) and Mary (Bill Paul). Cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of five. Charles will be greatly missed by his close friend and companion Marjorie Mason. Predeceased by his wife Margaret and his brother Don. A memorial celebration will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905...) on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
