Margaret Douglas

Margaret Douglas was born on 8 October 1515 in Harbottle Castle, Northumberland, England.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Douglas and Margaret Tudor.¹ Margaret Douglas married Matthew Stuart, son of John III Stuart and Elizabeth Stuart, on 29 June 1544 at St. James Palace, London, Middlesex, England.¹ Margaret Douglas died on 9 March 1578 in Hackney, London, Middlesex, England, at age 62.¹ She was buried on 3 April 1578 at Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey, Middlesex, England.¹
