Alphonso XIII (of Spain) was born on 17 May 1886 in Spain.¹ He was the son of Alphonso XII (of Spain) and Archduchess Maria Christina (of Austria).¹ Alphonso XIII (of Spain) married Victoria Eugenia (of Battenberg), daughter of Henry (of Battenburg) and Beatrice Mary Victoria (of Saxe-Coburg), on 9 March 1906 in Madrid, Spain.¹ Alphonso XIII (of Spain) died on 28 February 1941 in Portugal at age 54.¹
