King Georgios (Christian Vilhelm) I (of Greece) was born on 24 December 1845 in Gule Palae, Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark.1 He was the son of King Christian IX (of Denmark) and Princess Luise Wilhelmine Friederike (of Hesse-Kassel-Rumpenheim).1 King Georgios (Christian Vilhelm) I (of Greece) married Olga Constantinova (of Russia), daughter of Grand Duke Konstantin (of Russia) and Elizabeth Alexandra (of Saxe), on 27 October 1867 in St. Petersburg, Russia.1 King Georgios (Christian Vilhelm) I (of Greece) died on 5 March 1913 in Salonika, Thessalonike, Greece, at age 67.1 He was buried in Tatoi Athinai, Attikis, Greece.1
