President Andrew Jackson was born on 15 March 1767 in Waxhaws, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Hutchinson.¹ President Andrew Jackson married Rachel Donelson Robards in August 1791 in Natchez, Mississippi.¹ President Andrew Jackson died on 8 June 1845 in Nashville, Tennessee, at age 78.¹ He was buried at the Hermitage Garden, Nashville, Tennessee.¹

Called 'Old Hickory'.¹ President Andrew Jackson became a widower with the death of his wife, Rachel Donelson Robards on 22 December 1828 at The Hermitage, near Nashville, Tennessee, at age 61.¹ President Andrew Jackson became President of the United States on 4 March 1829 replacing President John Quincy Adams. President Andrew Jackson was over Vice President John C. Calhoun as Vice President of the United States on 4 March 1829. President Andrew Jackson was over President Martin Van Buren as Vice President of the United States on 4 March 1833.
