     Lena M. Chapman was born about 1888 in Edgar Co., Illinois.2,1 She married James Preston Carter, son of James C. Carter and Francis H. Rudolph, on 11 August 1917 in Cook Co., Illinois.1 She died on 4 June 1982 at Paris Community Hospital in Paris, Edgar Co., Illinois.2 She was buried at Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Edgar Co., Illinois.2
