     John Reginald Beardall was born on 8 April 1919 in Annapolis, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland.1 He married first Elizabeth Palmer Beverly, daughter of William Beverly and Elizabeth Amiss Palmer, on 11 June 1948 at Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester, Virginia.2,3 He married second Jeanne Ellen Coleman, daughter of William L. Coleman and Alberta Pierce, on 8 April 1972 in Duval Co., Florida.4 He died on 1 November 1993 in Orange Co., Florida, at age 74.5 He was buried on 8 November 1993 at Arlington National Cemetery (Sect. 11, Site 876-2) in Arlington, Virginia.6
     He served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 19707, during both World War II and the Korean War, and was at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack on 7 December 1941. As captain of the USS Norfolk he participated in the naval blockade of Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis in October 1982. He later served as chief of staff of the Navy's Sixth Fleet.8
     After his retirement from the Navy he moved to central Florida, where he was senior vice president of Coral Gables Federal Savings and Loan in Miami-Dade Co.8

     Elizabeth Palmer Beverly was born on 29 March 1927 in Winchester, Virginia.2,1 She married John Reginald Beardall, son of John Reginald Beardall and Edith Jett McCormick, on 11 June 1948 at Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester, Virginia.3,1 She died on 17 November 1969 at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Montgomery Co., Maryland, at age 42.4 She was buried on 20 November 1969 at Arlington National Cemetery (Sect. 11, Site 876-2) in Arlington, Virginia.5
     She graduated from St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Virginia, and from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.4

     Jeanne Ellen Coleman was born on 23 February 1922 in Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida.2 She married first Isaac Walter Budd on 19 January 1943 in Duval Co., Florida.3 She married third John Reginald Beardall, son of John Reginald Beardall and Edith Jett McCormick, on 8 April 1972 in Duval Co., Florida.1 She died on 1 April 2007 at age 85.2 She was buried at All Saints Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in Winter Park, Orange Co., Florida.4
