     He was commonly known as Roy Maslen.3,4 He crossed the border with his unidentified mother on 20 August 1918 at North Portal, Saskatchewan, Canada. They were going to Saskatchewan. He was identified as a 9 month old Canadian.6
     Roy S. appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota in the household of his parents, Harold and Hazel Maslen.7

     Roy Maslen registered for the draft on 16 October 1940 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA, at the age of 22. He was described as self employed with a service station. He was 5' 8.5" with brown hair and eyes, and a ruddy complexion.8
     In the obituary of Hazel Maslen who died 1 April 1987, her son, Sidney Roy Maslen, was listed as a survivor.3

     Edna D. Falls appeared on the 1910 U.S. Federal Census of Advance Twp., Texas County, Oklahoma, enumerated 10 April 1910, described as single and a public school teacher. Her much younger brothers, David Rex Falls and Miles O. Falls were living with her on what was probably the family farm. She owned the farm and had no mortgage. Presumably their parents were deceased.1
