     The following selected information is extracted from his obituary.2 Fred Schroeder was buried in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Eganville, Twp. of Bonnechere Valley, Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.2
     In the obituary of Nelson Heiderman who died 23 May 2000, his brother-in-law, Fred Schroeder was listed as a survivor.3
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Ottawa Citizen published in Ottawa, Ontario 19 September 2006 :

     In Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew, on Monday, September 18th, 2006 In his 92nd year. Fred Schroeder of Eganville, beloved husband of Gloria (nee Heiderman), Dear father of Sandra (Dennis) Shannon, Ronald (Kim) Schroeder and Debbie Knight. Grandfather of Ian, Wade, Damien, Tabitha and Jennifer. Great-grandfather ot Daniel Alana, Emma, Conner and Megan. Brother of Bill (Leona). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Laundry Funeral Home Eganville, after 7 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville, on Thursday, September 2ist at 10:30 a.m Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

     She died on 7 July 1916 in Pembroke, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Death Registration 029452. Note that her death registration only refers to her as Mrs. Herman Kargus and does not give her parent's names. The informant was her doctor, not a family member.2 The cause of her death was given as septicaemia (6 weeks) after Parturition (8 weeks.)2 Annie Runtz was buried in Lyndock Baptist Cemetery, Lyndoch Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.3
