She was born on 22 June 1834 at Kentucky, USA.1,2,3,5,9,10,11
Other information from their marriage registration and/or news article about their wedding:
Her parent(s) were listed as William C. Swindle.7
Mary married Hezekiah Maxey on 11 September 1851 at Monroe County, Missouri, USA.12,4,7,9,10
She died on 13 September 1916 at Marion Twp., Monroe County, Missouri, USA, at age 82.1,2,3,5,13 The informant on her death registration was W. O. Maxey, her son..13 The cause of her death was given as appendicitis.13 Mary Frances Swindell was buried on 14 September 1916 at Swindell Cemetery, Madison, Monroe County, Missouri, USA.13

Census Data

Frances Maxey and H H Maxey appeared on the 1860 U.S. Federal Census of Marion Twp., Monroe County, Missouri, at Middle Grove Post Office, enumerated 7 November 1860, enumerated as a farmer with real estate valued at $1,900 and a personal estate of $800. Their children Caroline and William O were listed as living with them.10
Mary F Maxey and Hezekiah Maxey appeared on the 1870 U.S. Federal Census of Union Twp., Monroe County, Missouri, enumerated 25 June 1870, enumerated as a farmer, and she was keeping house. Their children Caroline E, William O, Mary F, Josie, John W and Annie were listed as living with them.14

Mary F Maxey appeared on the 1900 U.S. Federal Census of Union Twp., Monroe County, Missouri, enumerated 20 June 1900, enumerated as a widowed farmer. Her son James W was listed as living with her.11
She also went by the name of Fannie.15 She also went by the name of Frances.6
In the obituary of William C. Swindell who died 1 December 1889, Mary Frances Swindell was listed as a survivor.15
In the obituary of Sallie Hayden who died 3 June 1913, her sister, Mrs. W O (sic) Maxey was listed as a survivor.16
The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
An undated clipping of an obituary for Mrs. Sallie Hayden refers to a surviving sister, Mrs. W. O. Maxey. I believe this was Mary Frances - widow of Hezekiah Hales Maxey. It was an error on the part of the person writing the obituary.

W. O. Maxey was actually her son, William Overton Maxey.17
