Tycie was born circa 1889 in Ohio, USA.5 Tycie was born in 1892 or 1893 in Ohio.2,3 Tycie married Harry Joseph Sykes circa 1906.5,3,1
Based upon the 1930 census, it appears that Maud and Tycie are the same person. Tycie and Harry were 19 and 23 respectively when they married so it would have been about 1906. This overlaps earlier enumerations where Harry's wife was given as Maud. Despite this, thesame census shows that he was born in about 1887 and she was born about 1892.6,3 Tycie Sykes was listed as next-of-kin/contact on the draft registration of Harry Joseph Sykes.1

Harry was born on 7 May 1887 in Bright, Miller Twp., Dearborn County, Indiana, USA.4,2,3 Harry married Hazel Gaffield circa 1918, since he was 30 and she was 24 when they married according to the 1930 census.5,6,7,8
Harry Sykes registered for the draft on 5 June 1917 in Harrison, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA. He listed his occupation as a painter, working for George Sykes of Harrison.4
The following biographical information is from my personal research, March 1940:
On his Social Security Number application, Harry listed his parents as John L Sykes and Julia Smith. This may indicate that he was raised for a time by his grandparents, since his mother Isabelle was not married until he was about 11.

He gave his brthplace as Harrison, Hamilton County, Ohio but confirmed his birth date as May 7, 1887.9
He registered for the "Old Man's" draft in 1942 in Iroquois County, Illinois, USA. This registration indicated that he had no middle name. He gave Mrs. Amy Doran(?) as a contact person, rather than his wife. Had they separated by this date?.10
