MRS. EDNA ALFORD RITES
     Center Texas — Mrs. Edna Alford, 76, died at a sanitarium in Abilene Sunday after a continued illness. She was a native of Shelby county and a member of a pioneer family. Final rites were held Tuesday at 2. p.m. at the Truitt cemetery, Rev. J. A. Smith, officiating. Survivors include one son, Fred Alford, of Joaquin; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, J. H. Latimer of Houston and Pete Latimer of Joaquin.7
