     He was born on 6 April 1891 at Melville Cross, Caledon Twp., Peel County, Ontario, Canada, according to his Ontario Statement of Birth 501680.1,3,4 Harold married Dorothy Melitz on 15 December 1919 at Provost, Alberta, Canada.1,5 A delayed birth registration for Harold Maxwell Scott was made on 18 May 1953 at Toronto, certified by his sister, Annie B Scott.3 The cause of his death was given as drowning when he fell into the town reservoir.6
     Harold Maxwell Scott died on 18 July 1973 at Consort, Alberta, Canada, at age 82.1,6

     Alvin John Scott died on 27 April 1959 at Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada, at age 66 in his 68th yr.1
     Alvin John Scott was buried at Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada, however, this burial is not listed in the OGS transcriptions of the Thornbury-Clarksburg Union cemetery.1

     Alvin John Scott began military service on 13 December 1915 at the age of 22 years, 11 months and 14 days at Orangeville, Amaranth Twp., Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada, Regimental number 663210. He gave his occupation as a student at the time of enlistment. He was 5'11" tall, with fair complexion and hair, and blue eyes. His chest measurements were 37" expanded, with 4" of expansion..6
     On 24 November 1917, at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, he embarked on the S.S. Megantic for transport to England, arriving there on Dec. 7, 1917.6
     On 10 June 1918, at France, he received a shell wound on his head and neck resulting in a small scar on his neck.6
     On 6 June 1919, at Southhampton, Hampshire, England, he embarked for Canada on H.M.T. Olympic, arriving at Halifax on June 12, 1919.6 Alvin John Scott ended his military service on 16 June 1919 at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada,
