     He died on 4 February 1911 at Lot 34, Con 18, Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 76 according to Ontario Death Registration 027453.1,2 The cause of his death was given as chronic asthma.2 The informant on his death registration was L B Meyer, who was not related.2 Valentin Bätz was buried at Golden Lake United Cemetery (AKA St. John's United Church Cemetery, North Algona-Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.1
