     He was born circa 1881 since he died at the age of 6 years.2 Alternatively, he may have been born circa September 1861 calculated from his alternative date of death.1
     Joseph J Carscadden died on 10 August 1888.2 Alternatively, he died on 10 August 1868 at Ontario, Canada, as shown in a published transcription of the family gravemarker.1

     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
My reading of his gravemarker gives his year of death as 1888. The transcriber of this gravestone views his age as 3, rather than 6, so he may have been born in about 1885. See the link in the following footnotes to view the marker yourself.

I also need to investigate further the occurence of two sons by this name in this family.2

     Isabella Carscadden died on 7 February 1907 at Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Death Registration 012494.1,5,4 The informant on her death registration was her son, Thomas D Carscadden.5 The cause of her death was given as senile decay.5
     Isabella Carscadden was buried at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.1,6
     Dean and Isabella Carscadden appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, enumerated 4 April 1881, described as an Episcopal Methodist and a "Gentleman". Their son Joseph J. was listed adescribed as s living with them.2
     In the obituary of Dean Carscadden who died 9 March 1906, his wife, Isabella Carscadden was listed as a survivor.7
