     His name was also recorded as August G. Hartwick according to his marriage registration.5

Their children Francis and Marvin were listed as living with them.7 A. Hartwick, of Orangeville, was listed as the father of the groom in the marriage of Francis Hartwick and Edna Patterson on 14 October 1944.9
     In the obituary of Marvin John Hartwick who died 10 September 1989, his father, August Hartwick was listed as surviving.10
