He was born on 14 February 1745/46 at Ireland.3 John married Chesophia (?) circa 1773.4
John Harrison Jackson died on 14 April 1814 at Dearborn County, Indiana, USA, at age 68.5,6
He was commonly known as Harry.1,2
See LDS Ancestral Files for other children of John and Chesaphia Jackson. John Harry Jackson is listed as 2nd of 7 children.LDS Ancestral Files list six children.

From Ancestry.com file 246690.com:
Came from Ireland to America - West Virginia up to the East Shore of Maryland. Later back to Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and into Southeast Indiana, but because of hostile Indians, went on to Nelson County, Kentucky. Came to Dearborn County with the Jackson family and were the first to buy land there. They settled on Georgetown Ridge.

John Jackson was an excellent swimmer, but in those days, the only way to cross Tanner's Creek when it was high, was to swim the horse across. The horse stumbled and fell, the saddle girth broke, Mr. Jackson's boots became tangled and he was helpless to save himself in the turbulent waters, so he was drowned at age 68 years.5
