     Nelson Steele Allcock began military service on 15 July 1940 at the age of 21 years, 11 months and 18 days at Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He arrived in England on Jan 1, 1941 with the First Division Canadian Artillery.11 Nelson Steele Allcock ended his military service in 1941 Gunner L/255, 2 Lt. A.A. Regt., Royal Canadian Artillery. Ida Flynn recorded that he was a "Dispatch rider Royal Canadian Artillery. Killed in an accident, London, Eng.".
