     Following is other information from a newspaper article about their wedding:
The Maid of Honour and Best Man were Garth Hamwood. They were attended by Inez Hamwood. His parent(s) were listed as Sophia Hamwood. Her parent(s) were listed as Mrs. Thomas Willis.5

     He died on 11 April 1982 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at age 75.6
     He was commonly known as Red.7
     In the obituary of Arthur William Hamwood who died circa 12 December 1934, his son, Beverley Hamwood was listed as a survivor.8
     The following newspaper article appeared in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan StarPhoenix 14 November 1938 :
HAMWOOD--WILLIS
At the home of Mrs. Sophia Hamwood, Ermine, on Saturday, November 5, a wedding of interest to the community took place when her son, Beverley Johnston Hamwood and Miss Hazel Maude Willis, of Toronto, were united in marriage by the Rev. Lester E. Berry, Kerrobert. Miss Inez Hamwood was bridesmaid.

The bride's mother, Mis. Thomas Willis, of Toronto, gave the bride away and Mrs. (sic) Garth Hamwood, brother of the groom, acted as best man, Miss Gwen Alcock playing the Wedding march.

During the signing of the register, Mrs. Vic Culham. accompanied by her daughter, Lottie, sang, "Because." A buffet lunch was served to relatives and guests.5

     In the obituary of Myrtly (sic) Sophia Hamwood who died 25 October 1975, her son, Beverley Hamwood of Toronto, was listed as a survivor.9
     In the obituary of Inez Blanche Cunnings who died 17 September 1989, her brother, Beverley Hamwood was listed as predeceased.10
     In the obituary of Garth Hamwood who died 14 June 1990, his brother, Beverley Hamwood was listed as predeceased.11

The following biographical fact was included, February 2019:
Ukrainian Composer and Musicologist Wasyl Sydorenko tells the story of how he came to write the song "Ye Little Olde Pill Shoppe" based upon a poem by Nancy Evans (the pseudonym of Hazel Hamwood.) It was included in her 1981 book of poems "...here we go again" published by her husband, B. J. Hamwood. Several of her books are in the Toronto Public Library.
