Jorgina Hansine (Jennie) Poulsen was born on 8 August 1897 in Vor Frue (Parish), Fleskum (District), Aalborg (County), Denmark.1,2,3 She married Thorvald Gribskov on 3 September 1920 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Jorgina died on 21 September 1987, in Deschutes County, Oregon, at age 90.1,2 She was buried in Danish Cemetery, Junction City, Lane County, Oregon, which is located 4.5 miles west of Junction City, Oregon, on First Street, which becomes High Pass Road. It is on the south side of High Pass Road.4
Jorgina Hansine (Jennie) Poulsen was christened on 11 August 1897 in Vor Frue (Parish), Fleskum (District), Aalborg (County), Denmark.3

Jorgina Hansine (Jennie) Poulsen and Sidsel "Marie" Poulsen emigrated circa 1898 from Denmark to the United States. She was apparently named after her father, Jorgen Hansen, but her parents were never married, which to this day is a not uncommon practice in Denmark. As she used to say, she "came out on the wrong side of the blanket." When she was very young, her mother took her from Denmark to the United States.
Jennie Gribskov lived most of her life in Junction City, Oregon. At one time, she lived at 1801 N.E. Lotus Drive, Bend, Oregon. The Social Security Death Index gives her last residence as Bend, Oregon, and her first name as "Jennie" which is also the name on her gravestone. Most of us Harnden researchers had the Thies name spelled like Tyse. But on another note you have his other wife as Bess Kerr we all have it as Bess Brown. I never did the serious research on these individuals so I don't know which Bess is Bess.
