	Birth	Harry Glotzer was also known as Herschel Glotzer.
1878	Birth	He was born on 15 August 1878 in Russia.1,2,3
1904	Immigration	He migrated to Ellis Island in New York City on 14 May 1904. aboard the SS Patricia. The manifest notes his last European residence as "Pinsk," and cites Hirsch Zipperstein as Harry's American contact.4,5
	Anecdote	Lou Glotzer writes: When I was a child I was told that Harry was an Officer in the Czar's Army, as a matter of fact, I got a picture from Judy Lont where he is actually in Uniform, so that corroborated that. My father communicated to me that Harry had actually deserted the Army when he made his trek to America, he came thru Cuba and then the US, and that he washed dishes in a restaurant to make ends meet until he managed to bring his brother or some relative (????) from Belarus who brought a small fortune in Jewels that once sold allotted them enough cash to actually buy the restaurant and later on the building on which the first fur coat factory was originated.6
