She was born May 25, 1889 in Moore Township. She was married to Bruce VanDerverr who died in 1939. Later she married Arthur Houghton. He died in 1961.
Mrs. Houghton was a member of Faith Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son. Hersey J. “Curley” Dorman. Marysville. three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A son. Merle Dorman, died earlier.
